LRE wants to salute senior-citizen san jose city council gadfly william j garbett for dumping a bucket of dirt and mold on the shiny new san jose city council chambers' floor...the bucket contained years of rainwater and mold from roof leaks which ensued after police helicopters flew too low over his house, and he's pissed - we salute you; william j garbett, for speaking your truth to power; for standing up for the little guy; and for being the lone wolf mold bucket thrower that you are - we need more people like mister garbett...

LRE NOTE: as i initially wrote in the february 10, 2007 BLOGGERS ARE JOURNALISTS TOO! section below; the roots of modern democracy allegedly began back in the ancient roman empire inside a jewish enclave, and within this enclave they had public hearings where individuals were allowed to literally get down on their knees and spit on the ground in front of their enclave leaders to show how they felt...and why?; because they ALL knew what oppression really was, and where it was as well; outside the walls of the enclave...now; how has the interpretation of democracy changed since then, and how has $$$ money $$$ affected the process? (and how has this affected how we all act within the confines of our own enclaves?) i think we ALL know the answer$ to those question$ don't we?...thank you william j garbett, for re-stablishing true democracy here in america, the way it was initially intended...
